Dorset: Blanchards Bailey to host free employment law workshops for SMEs
Leading Dorset law firm Blanchards Bailey LLP is inviting small and medium-sized businesses to a series of free morning workshops on current hot topics within employment law.
The workshops are being held in Blandford and will be conducted by the firm’s expert employment lawyers, Edward O’Brien and Lucy Mitchell. Topics to be addressed include: the disciplinary process, managing absenteeism and flexible working requests. The workshops will be interactive with breakout sessions .
Bookings are being taken on a first-come first-served basis, and individuals wishing to participate can attend one or more of the following workshops:
July 1 – Workshop 1: 'Dealing with shared parental leave and flexible working requests'
July 22 – Workshop 2: 'Avoiding pitfalls when conducting a disciplinary process'
September 23 – Workshop 3: 'Managing sickness absence and stress in the workplace'
Each event will take place in Blandford between 9:15am -1:15pm and include light refreshments.

The workshops will be for small groups where we will look in to case studies and discuss the specific problems that can arise.”
