Hampshire: Property sector experiences top pay growth

Property is one of the top sectors for salary growth in the past year, according to a survey by Hampshire-based CV-Library. Property comes second after the automotive industry, with 8.6% growth in pay.

The top 10 in salary growth - comparing February 2017 with February last year - were:

1. Automotive 9.1%
2. Property 8.6%
3. Manufacturing 7.7%
4. Legal 7.5%
5. Accounting/Finance 6.4%
6. Hospitality 3.7%
7. Recruitment 3.6%
8. Retail 3.1%
9. IT 2.4%
10. Education 2.2%

The top industries for job growth were manufacturing, automotive and engineering - suggesting that factories were recruiting significantly in the past year.
