Heathrow: Two new tenants take space at Longwalk, Stockley Park

Aberdeen Standard Investments, advised jointly by Savills and Bray Fox Smith, has let office space to Orega and J&P Coats at 4 Longwalk Road on Stockley Park, near Heathrow.

Orega, the serviced office provider, which already has a national network of centres, has agreed to a new 10-year lease for 24,210 sq ft (2,249 sq m) on the first floor of the Grade A office scheme. Once completed the space will include a business lounge, flexible meeting rooms and office suites, which will create a contemporary working environment capable of accommodating businesses with two or more staff.

Additionally, J&P Coats has agreed to a new 12-year lease for space totalling 10,818 sq ft on part of the third floor. They are the world’s largest manufacturer and distributor of sewing thread and supplies, who will be relocating from elsewhere on the park.

Stuart Paterson, of Aberdeen Standard Investments, commented: “We are delighted to have secured these latest deals at 4 Longwalk bringing the building up to 60% occupancy. Orega and Coats will join global sports production and distribution business IMG Studios, who took 25,000 sq ft on the ground floor in the building in summer 2018 as expansion space to its main facility in neighbouring 5 Longwalk.

“With approximately 40,000 sq ft remaining plus the opportunity to offer a high-quality serviced office proposition within the building, 4 Longwalk can appeal to businesses of all sizes from start-ups to global corporates. For this reason, we are confident that with ongoing discussions with other occupiers for the remainder of the building, we will achieve full occupation in the near term, which will benefit our underlying clients over the long-term.”
