By road

From the M4 leave the motorway at Junction 12. Head towards Theale and Newbury, and proceed on Bath Road until the second major roundabout. Then take the third exit, the A340 towards Pangbourne.

At Pangbourne, turn right at the mini-roundabout (with The Elephant Hotel on your left) into the centre of the village. At the next mini roundabout keep right towards Reading, and then turn left almost immediately (before the pedestrian crossing) through an archway flanked by Café St Louis and Ninos. Howarth Lodge is the white building directly in front of you. (Please do not park in this car park as it is permit only and you could be clamped.)

There is a private car park opposite the office on the other side of the pedestrian crossing at £1 per hour.

There are two public car parks: one is adjacent to The Elephant Hotel (turn left at Bentley Berkshire); the other in Whitchurch Road through the entrance to the Working Mens Club. (Please do not park in the car park behind Howarth Lodge as this is permit only and you will be fined by the attendant via smart cameras.)
