Langley: Major office refit completed for Thames Water
One of the UK’s foremost office design and fit-out firms has finished 2017 with a flourish, following the completion of a major project for the design and refurbishment of the offices of Thames Water’s award-winning smart metering team in Langley.
The refurbished office is the new home for 180 Thames Water employees. The Fresh team developed a concept based on bright, open plan offices with an array of shared space, meeting rooms, collaborative team and break out spaces as well as a prayer room and new kitchen. As well as dedicated workstations, there are also a number of hot desks for job sharers and field staff. The vibrant colour scheme is based on the corporate colour palette and has been chosen as part of the new, open collaborative culture.
The Thames Water team was named as the Best Newcomer at the 2017 WOW! Awards. The award was presented to the team leaders at a gala ceremony at the Radisson Blu Portman Hotel, London earlier this month. The WOW! Awards is the only independent awards process for great customer service based purely on customer compliments. The Best Newcomer Award recognises the organisation which has launched the WOW! Awards scheme in the past 12 months and have successfully established the initiative into its company.
Said Fresh Workspace MD Charles Marks: “We’re now enjoying a growing reputation as one of the most customer focussed and forward-thinking workplace design firms in the UK and it’s showing in our ability to work with clients like Thames Water and other major organisations in the area. We’ve had a great year and the foundations are in place for an even better 2018.”
