Lymington: Straight Eight Logistics made partner for the Modena Cento Ore Classic
Straight Eight Logistics, the leading UK company specialising in the transportation of classic and luxury cars, has been confirmed as the official logistics-and-transport partner for the Modena Cento Ore Classic 2016.
The 16th running of Modena Cento Ore in June will be on a scenically-stunning 1,000 kilometre coast-to-coast route across Italy. The four-day event will start in Rimini and take in Florence and Forte dei Marmi before finishing in Modena. It will include spells of racing at Imola, Misano and Mugello, in addition to a dozen hillclimb stages on closed roads.
Last year’s event attracted over 80 cars from 18 different nations, including 20 entries from the UK.
Straight Eight Logistics will transport competitors’ cars to and from the event from across Europe and further afield.
Peter Bonham Christie, director at Straight Eight Logistics, commented: “We are delighted to be partnering Modena Cento Ore for the first time this year.”
