Newbury: James Cowper Kreston moves to new home at Greenham
Accountancy firm James Cowper Kreston is moving its Newbury office to Greenham Business Park this month.
The firm has been a part of the West Berkshire community since the 1920s providing a wide range of accountancy services covering accounting, audit, VAT, tax, payroll, corporate finance and business advisory. The Newbury office will move from Overbridge Square to 2 Communications Road, Greenham Business Park.
When the opportunity to relocate arose, the firm had the goal of finding offices better suited to its needs and remaining in the Newbury location. Meetings with Greenham Business Park resulted in the construction of a new bespoke James Cowper Kreston office building. The two-storey building has a host of amenities designed to improve the working environment for staff and also remain in an area which is easily commutable.
Robert Holland, managing partner at James Cowper Kreston, said: “We are delighted to announce the news of the new office building; it is the final product of many months of hard work led by Nick Butler. While we did not set out to create a bespoke office it has truly been the best result for the firm, allowing us to design a space that best fits our requirements and provides our staff with a fantastic working environment."
Nick Butler, partner at James Cowper Kreston and managing director of JC Payroll, said: “I was tasked with leading the charge on the new build and, whilst it has not been without its challenges, the end result has exceeded our expectations. We kept our staff at the forefront of the design work making our aim to create a functional and comfortable office situation; we look forward to welcoming clients to the new space.”
James Cowper Kreston will be moving to the new office in late November.
