Oxfordshire: Second office for Meeson Williams Phillips
Expanding commercial property and planning consultancy Meeson Williams Phillips has opened an office at Milton Park in South Oxfordshire reflecting its increasingly-active role in the region.
Meeson Williams Phillips, which has its main office in Kidlington, has an established client base in the science and technology sectors located in South Oxfordshire, having worked for many years advising on relocations and lease re-negotiations. It is also a member of the Oxfordshire BioScience Network.
The consultancy is currently handling the sale of the 33-acre Grove Technology Park with offers sought in excess of £15 million, acting as marketing agents for Monument Business Park at Chalgrove promoting the new development of business units totaling 56,000 sq ft on a five-acre site and, in the autumn, will be bringing a major new office and industrial development to the market in Abingdon.
“These active relocation and development projects are intensive and having a base at Milton Park enables us to be on hand when needed,” said David Williams, director at Meeson Williams Phillips. “Relocation projects for science companies are both fast moving and complex as each will have individual laboratory or R&D requirements so it’s helpful to be nearby.”
Ian Wenman, non-executive director of Meeson Williams Phillips and deputy chairman of Oxfordshire LEP, said: “I am pleased and proud to be involved with a company that is making a real effort to assist in the ambitious growth agenda for the county and where better to open an office than in the Enterprise Zone – a key part of the county’s growth strategy for science and technology.”
