Portsmouth: Businesses invited to have first look at £10m Merlin Park
Businesses are being given the chance for a first look at Portsmouth’s £10 million Merlin Park development as construction work is now complete.
An open morning will be held from 9am to 10am on Thursday, October 4 at the site off Airport Service Road. Merlin Park is the city’s largest speculative industrial development in a decade and brings a large brownfield site back into commercial use. The site features seven new units, ranging from 8,000 sq ft to 41,600 sq ft, and is the only new high-specification business accommodation on Portsea Island.
The 6.5 acre site has been regenerated by Canmoor Developments, with leading South Coast commercial property specialist Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) and CBRE acting as joint agents for the site as it goes to market.
Guy Jackson, associate director of Lambert Smith Hampton’s industrial property team and based at the Fareham office, said: “This is a great opportunity for local occupiers to have a look round this high-quality development that is ideal for business, industrial and warehouse uses.
“Units of this quality are a rarity in the Portsmouth area, where there is a desperate need for new stock to meet demand. We look forward to welcoming the business community to our open morning and showing people what the development has to offer.”
Refreshments will be provided at the open morning. Attendees should head to Unit 2 where they will be greeted by agents from LSH and CBRE.
