Portsmouth: Entrepreneurs Unite launches Global Entrepreneurship Week
For those who have a business idea or have always wanted to run their own business, Global Entrepreneurship Week (from November 18-24) launched by Entrepreneurs Unite is Portsmouth's largest campaign to promote entrepreneurship.
This year, over 1,000 people will be taking part in some 64 events organised by Entrepreneurs Unite in 42 different locations across the city.
"We need to inspire people to get involved; entrepreneurship is no longer about just making money it is about changing cultures and societies. Come and meet mentors, join a network and learn about starting your own business," said the Entrepreneurs Unite team.
Simon Frost, Parity Trust chief executive, said: Global Entrepreneurship Week is very important; it will help to create jobs, and change people’s lives, and is a practical resource as there are many people out there who are willing to provide help to individuals and organisations.”
