Portsmouth: IT services provider Aura supports business event
Leading IT services provider Aura is sponsoring a business event that aims to bring the Portsmouth business community closer together and promote innovation.
Aura is sponsoring the #LinkedInLocal event taking place on November 22 at Village Hotel, in Lakeshore Drive, Portsmouth. This is the third time #LinkedInLocal has been held in Portsmouth following two successful previous events that attracted businesses from all sectors from across the city.
#LinkedInLocal is an idea that started in Australia and has become popular around the world – quite simply with the aim of putting the social back into social media by meeting the person behind the LinkedIn profile.
The Portsmouth event, taking place between 6pm and 8.30pm, will feature guest speaker Craig McHugh, a specialist in people development in the success of businesses. The nominated charity for the event will be Education Business Partnership South, which is based at North Harbour and works to inspire and prepare young people for the world of work by connecting education and business.
