Reading: 50% of The Blade now let as Barton Willmore joins tenants
Reading's prestigious office building, The Blade, has a new tenant. Aviva Investors has signed planning and design consultancy Barton Willmore for 11,670 sq ft of offices.
Barton Willmore is paying a headline rent of £30 per sq ft on a 10-year lease.
Barton Willmore joins Bracket, Hays Recruitment, Cambio Healthcare and technology sector intelligence specialist Megabuyte within the building, amounting to over 30,000 sq ft being signed to occupiers during 2013.
Accountancy training company Kaplan Financial and automotive consulting specialist Urban Science already occupy three floors of the building, which is now over 50% let.
Barrton Willmore's registered office is at Beansheaf Farmhouse, Reading. The firm is one of the sponsors of the prestigious 2014 Thames Valley Property Awards, run by The Business Magazine and UK Property Forums.
