Reading: BDO appoints two new audit partners
Accountancy and business advisory firm BDO LLP has recently appointed two new partners to its Reading audit practice.
Ian Oliver joins BDO following 20 years at EY where he developed and led its life sciences practice. He specialises in the provision of audit to high-growth businesses in the life sciences sector and also has extensive experience advising businesses in the technology, manufacturing and automotive sectors across the UK.
Gavin Crawford has joined BDO following 19 years at PwC. Crawford specialises in advising UK fast-growth private-equity-backed businesses and large international groups. His experience spans multiple sectors including technology, pharmaceutical and services.
Simon Brooker, lead partner of BDO’s Reading office, commented: “What a great way to start an exciting new year – by welcoming two new talents to our partnership.
“We continue our commitment to ensuring the UK’s high-growth businesses receive the best advice – wherever they are based. Ian and Gavin’s experience across the region will make an invaluable contribution to our already strong and busy Reading practice.”
At the end of last year BDO announced its audit and assurance teams have grown revenues by £150.7 million – an increase of 5.4%. The firm also retained its title as number one auditor for AIM companies.
