Blandy & Blandy LLP, the Thames Valley law firm, has announced the expansion of its dispute resolution team with the appointment of new partner, David Murray.
Blandy’s dispute resolution team is one of the most highly regarded in the Thames Valley advising on a wide range of disputes and has experience of achieving successful outcomes whether through negotiation, mediation or litigation in the courts or specialist tribunals.
Working with commercial clients in sectors including professional services, sports leisure and hospitality, property, charities, IT and recruitment, the dispute resolution team is recommended in independent legal directories for the South East.
Murray joined the firm from Blake Morgan LLP and will be leading the firm’s commercial dispute resolution service. He has wide experience of providing focused commercial advice on risk to corporate bodies of all sizes, and has particular expertise in commercial litigation and insolvency work. Leading legal directory Chambers and Partners quotes one interviewee as describing Murray in the following terms : "He is a great solicitor who knows what he is talking about."

Meanwhile, the firm has promoted an associate, Caroline Casagranda, to partner bringing the number of partners at the firm to 16. Based in the firm’s Reading office, she is responsible for managing the Wills, Probate, Tax and Trusts team. Her specialist areas of expertise include probate and estate administration and trusts and estate planning.
