Campbell Gordon has relocated to riverside offices at the top of Reading Bridge House. The firm was based at 50 Queens Road, or one of the adjoining buildings, since the practice was founded 40 years ago, and has now moved to the ninth floor of the landmark building where it also acts as letting agent.

Keith Wise, director, Campbell Gordon, said: "Having worked on Queens Road for some 29 years this move was not taken lightly. But there have been so many exciting changes in the Thames Valley market during this period we knew there was a great chance for us to take advantage of these changes and practice what we preach."

Fellow director Duncan Campbell said: "This is a really big change for the business. We were on Queens Road for an exceptionally long time. This is the latest in a number of changes we have made to the business, all of which have been carefully designed to ensure we continue to provide the very best analysis, advice and services to our clients. We hope this will enable us to be one of the very best, market leading independent firms for at least another 40 years."

Steve Pope at Berkley Estates London, the managing agents for owners VC 3, said: "We are delighted to have completed this transaction with the building’s own letting agents, Campbell Gordon and this underlines the attraction of Reading Bridge House to occupiers. Reading Bridge House is located within a few hundred metres of Reading train station / the new Elizabeth line, and represents fantastic value for money. The building is now 85% let following recent lettings to Blue Array, Ascot Lloyd and Campbell Gordon. These transactions follow an overhaul of the reception/entrance arrangements and an upgrade of the Café, which is operated by local artisanal coffee specialist - Lincoln Coffee House.”

Campbell Gordon was established 40 years ago by Ian Campbell. Keith Wise and Duncan Campbell completed a management buyout of the business in 2015. The head office is in Reading, with a satellite office on the Southbank, London.
