Reading: Distribution Technology moves to new HQ
Distribution Technology (DT), the UK’s leading provider of financial advice software, is moving to a new HQ after tripling its staff numbers in 2006.
With 14,000 advisers now benefiting from its platform, Distribution Technology moves to its new premises at Sovereign House in mid-February. The offices have been designed to provide a stimulating and dynamic working atmosphere, with an innovative adviser consultation centre at its heart.
The Planning and Sales Lab, which customers will be able to visit to experience DT’s new software and solutions, is at the core of the company’s new headquarters in Reading. The Lab will also allow advisers to test software during its development and explore new distribution concepts such as how multi-channel advised sales can work.
“Having the Lab means we can explore the usability of our solutions with our advisers in a realistic setting,” said Distribution Technology CEO Ben Goss. “It will also help us refine our understanding of key issues such as how to ensure that technology doesn’t intrude on the adviser – customer relationship, but instead enhances it.”
News of Distribution Technology’s expansion is accompanied by the appointment of a new marketing manager at the firm.
Clare Lamb, a former marketing manager for ITT Industries and RSA Security, takes up the role and also a position on Distribution Technology’s senior management team. Her role includes supporting the company’s customers and partners with the adoption of DT’s solutions in their adviser communities. Lamb will also be in charge of all of the company’s communications.
“I’m delighted to join Distribution Technology,” said Lamb. “The company is in a fantastic position in the market place with great technology and a great customer list. The company is tackling some of the most important issues in advised distribution for its customers and I’m looking forward to promoting this to the industry”
Ben Goss added: “Clare is an extremely experienced technology marketer who has helped grow large software companies across multiple channels and European markets, so it’s great to have her on board. Last year we saw triple digit growth, and Clare’s appointment will further support our rapid expansion.”
