Blandy & Blandy LLP’s award-winning commercial property team has welcomed solicitors Rachel Swan and Geena-Mae Bucknall, while Olivia Foster has been promoted to become a legal assistant.

One of the largest in the Thames Valley, the team features three partners, one associate solicitor, four solicitors and a legal assistant.

Swan (third from left) said: “I am thrilled to join Blandy & Blandy’s team, which has a longstanding reputation in the region and beyond. I have no doubt that working with such skilled and experienced lawyers will further enhance my own knowledge and experience, while enabling me to work on a wide variety of interesting projects.”

Bucknall (far right) added: “I am delighted to be starting my career as a solicitor at such a successful and highly reputable firm. I look forward to getting involved in some interesting and challenging work and to working within the outstanding commercial property team here at Blandy & Blandy.”

Team head Jane Gunnell commented: “We are delighted to welcome Rachel and Geena-Mae, who I am certain will prove to be an asset to our team and the wider firm. Congratulations also to Olivia, who has recently completed her Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx) Diploma, having been a part of our team since 2013.”

Highly recommended in both The Legal 500 and Chambers UK Guide, Blandy & Blandy was named Property Law Firm of the Year at the 2017 Thames Valley Property Awards. The team advises on commercial landlord and tenant matters, development land and property finance.

Blandy & Blandy’s growing employment team has also welcomed a new solicitor Rachel Mulvany, who joins having trained and qualified at another leading Thames Valley firm.

Mulvany (far left) said: “I am excited to join Blandy & Blandy’s employment team; everyone at the firm has been extremely welcoming.  As a junior lawyer, the vast experience of the other solicitors in the department, and their expertise in additional areas ranging from business immigration to venue licensing, presented an opportunity which was impossible to turn down.”

In addition, Laura Evans recently joined the probate, tax & trusts team upon qualification, whilst experienced family solicitor Collette Bailey has joined the firm as a consultant.
