Reading: The White Building fills up
Boultbee Brooks Real Estate and CBRE Global Investors have secured two further tenants for Reading’s The White Building, taking the building to 70% occupied.
Roc Search is relocating from neighbouring The Blade in Reading.
Founded in Reading and celebrating its 10-year anniversary this year, the global operation now has offices across Europe and the United States. It has taken 13,348 sq ft over a 10-year lease at the White Building.
Separately Canadian production technology firm Ross Video has taken 5,245 sq ft, also on a 10-year lease.
Tom Fletcher, head of LSH’s Reading office, commented: “Roc Search and Ross Video follow hot on the heels of Carbon Black as The White Building continues to lead the market in terms of letting success. The building is now 70% let, less than five months post-completion.”
James Whitcher at Boultbee Brooks Real Estate said: “Once again, The White Building has proved that investment in creating its state-of-the art workspace has paid off. With market-leading design, a concierge service, roof terrace, business lounge and flourishing co-working space, it goes far beyond the norm and has tapped into the working environment businesses want to create for their people.”
Boultbee Brooks Real Estate and CBRE Global Investors are represented by Lambert Smith Hampton, Rare and Savills. Roc Search was represented by Haslams and Ross Video by Gerald Eve.
