Creative workspace provider Spaces opened the doors of its first centre in Slough on July 16, 2018.

Created for 'corporate shakers, business nomads, freelancers and energetic entrepreneurs', Spaces provides a full-service, creative working environment with entrepreneurial spirit, where ideas develop, businesses grow and relationships evolve.

Recently named one of the top 16 tech towns in the UK in this year’s Tech Nation Report[1], Slough is at the forefront of a burgeoning technology sector, making it the perfect home for Spaces.

The new Spaces occupies a prime location in the city centre’s Porter Building, located within walking distance of Slough’s train and bus stations and just a short journey from Heathrow airport. Spread across five floors of open-plan office space, and filled with natural light by its beautiful ‘green-heart’ atrium and rooftop terrace, its eco-conscious design makes it the ideal space to work in comfort.

In a welcome contrast to the productivity challenges facing the UK, as one of the top tech hubs in the UK, Slough is attracting increased investment and entrepreneurial talent from across the country. Now is the time for businesses to get in on the action, and Spaces provides the opportunity to do this with its expertly designed, forward-thinking workspace.

Richard Morris, UK CEO of Spaces, commented: “Demand for flexible workspace is growing rapidly. Recent research from IWG’s Global Business Survey shows that 53% of professionals now work remotely for half their working week. People now recognise that they can be far more productive and successful in a dynamic working environment, while businesses are waking up to the financial and strategic benefits – driving a workplace revolution in Britain.”

"We are excited to bring a flexible and creative working environment, with networking at its core, to Slough for the very first time. Slough has become a thriving destination for ideas and entrepreneurship, both of which are at the heart of the Spaces proposition.”
