South coast: Promotion for 23 lawyers at Blake Morgan
Law firm Blake Morgan has promoted 23 solicitors in its Southampton and Portsmouth offices. The promotions, from 58 announced by the wider firm, highlight the firm’s growth and the strengthening of its teams following from the merger of Blake Lapthorn and Morgan Cole earlier this year.
A total of 20 promotions are for staff at Blake Morgan’s Southampton office at New Kings Court.
In the corporate team Gemma Spiceley and Mat Wilson both receive promotions to associate.
In the banking and finance team, Steve Cole is promoted to senior associate, while Natalie Coates becomes an associate.
In commercial litigation, Jessica Tresham and Kate New are promoted to senior associate, while Ben Evans becomes a senior solicitor.
There are several promotions for members of the development and agriculture team, where Marina Wickens becomes legal director, Lara Borrett-Lynch becomes a senior associate and Chris Carr and Charlotte Wilson become senior solicitors.
In the employment team, Graham Brown and Clare Preston become senior solicitors. Claire Anderson in the professional regulatory team and Ronan Daffey in real estate are both promoted to associate.
In real estate, Nicola Sutton, Anna Larbi and Daniel Curtis are promoted to senior associate while Matthew Napoli becomes a senior solicitor. In the construction team, Edward McMullen becomes a senior associate.
In Blake Morgan’s Portsmouth office there are promotions for commercial recoveries solicitors Teresa Hardingham and Katy Miles and wills and tax solicitor Celine Lecomte, who all become associates.
