South Coast: Record entries for Solent Business Awards
Entries have now closed for the Solent Business Awards - and a record number of nominations have been received.
Judges will now visit companies through the summer to create a shortlist of businesses that will be invited to the gala awards night on October 18 at the Hilton at Ageas Bowl, Southampton.
Awards chairman David Murray said: "I would like to thank all those companies that have entered SBA this year. The quality of entries is outstanding - and we have nominations from sectors ranging from hospitality and leisure to professional services, from manufacturing to technology, and from business services to recruitment."
The SBA is sponsored by NatWest, James Cowper Kreston, KPMG, Pitmans Law, Vail Williams and Taylor Made Computer Solutions.
The leading multi-category awards scheme on the South Coast, the SBA is now in its fourth year. This year's awards host is Sally Taylor, who has been fronting BBC South for over three decades, while guest speaker is John Pienaar, the BBC's deputy political editor.
The event is one of the key networking dinners on the South Coast business calendar. Tickets are priced at £170 ex VAT and a table of 10 is £1,500 ex VAT.
