SKS Business Services, an award-winning firm of chartered accountants and finance outsource specialists, has acquired chartered accountants Bailey Group with legal advice provided by Moore Barlow. Acquisition financing was provided by Shard Credit Partners. SKS’s acquisition of Bailey Group grows the firm’s geographical reach as it gains an established base in the North East. This means SKS now has a presence in five out of the UK’s eight regions and a consolidated group EBITDA of £4.8 million.
Sanjay Swarup, managing director of SKS, said: “The merger with Bailey Group is a huge leap forward towards attaining our goal of becoming a national firm. Our buy and build strategy has delivered strong growth for the firm, the success of which is also reliant on sound legal advice. We’re grateful to Jeremy Over and the rest of the team from Moore Barlow for their commercial acumen and legal expertise combined with a drive and determination to help us achieve our commercial goals.”
Jeremy Over added: “SKS has enjoyed significant growth with offices across the UK and nearly 12,000 clients, up from 3,000 in 2018.
