Two leading software specialists in the south have come together to help thousands of clients across the world automate data processing and documentation.

Portsmouth-based Transalis and Codeless Platforms, headquartered in Poole, say their agreement facilitates a ‘complete, end-to-end solution’ for organisations of all sizes including retailers, manufacturers, logistics and warehouse operators and supply chain firms.

The focus is electronic data interchange, or EDI, which helps users share data, integrate it with internal systems and automate manual processes such as extracting information from paper and pdf.

This helps save on the costs of processing sales orders, invoices, shipping notes, despatch advice, workflow reports and other essential paperwork.

Transalis already supplies leading brand names Pret a Manager, Argos and Superdrug owner AS Watson while the Codeless Platforms customer base includes Beaulieu Motor Museum, backpack and rucksack manufacturer Osprey Europe and the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.

Now, the pair’s reciprocal reseller agreement enables both partners to offer a flexible solution that integrates Transalis’ cloud-hosted software directly into client business systems along with a ‘drag and drop’ business process automation platform developed by Codeless Platforms.

Roy Garlick, Transalis global channel manager, said: “Codeless Platforms’ understanding of the challenges associated with digital transformation and business process management is closely aligned to ours. This makes for a great working relationship. Their platform and its extensive range of system connectors will allow us to offer the market an unrivalled end-to-end solution for fully automated business processes.”

Sven Theophil, sales director at Codeless Platforms, said: “EDI technology is an extremely valuable supply chain tool that can help businesses increase speed, enhance accuracy, improve relationships and ultimately reduce costs. As one of the leading exponents of EDI technology, we are extremely happy to partner with Transalis, and look forward to helping deliver solutions that will enable customers to benefit from the advantages that EDI can offer.”
