South: The future of Ports – The Ports Development Conference, November 17
The Business Magazine, a supporter of the UK marine sector, highlights the following conference that will appeal to those interested in the future development plans of the major ports.
BDB Pitmans are sponsoring Session 1: The Future of Ports as part of the Ports Development Conference hosted by Built Environment Networking on November 17.
The Ports Development Conference is one of the leading online events focused on the vitally important role ports play in driving the UK’s economy and as the stimulus for development and regeneration projects around port areas.
The conference will include leading players in the sector – with presentations from major ports showcasing their future development plans and highlighting the role they can play in driving economic growth. There will be an open Q&A throughout for the audience to get involved. You will also be able to enjoy some networking time with those also attending the conference – with the ability to video chat with attendees, enter the speed networking area or visit the exhibition booths of sponsors.
The first session will include senior players from within the sector who will share their thoughts on the potential challenges and opportunities ahead.
Planning and infrastructure partner, David Mundy from BDB Pitmans will be introducing and chairing the session and will be joined by Tim Morris, chief executive of the UK Major Ports Group, Richard Ballantyne, chief executive of the British Ports Association and Isabelle Ryckbost, secretary general of the European Sea Port Organisation (ESPO).
Networking will commence at 9:30am with the first session starting at 10am.
