Southampton: Carswell Gould boosts team following client wins
Award-winning marketing communications agency Carswell Gould has appointed three new team members in response to new business requirements.
The account management team at the agency has been strengthened with the addition of Bryn Jones and Jonny Lockwood and with Stuart Hunt being promoted from senior account executive. Jones brings a wealth of experience in enhancing the reputation of organisations through PR and marketing and is highly experienced in place marketing, heritage, arts and tourism. A former board member of Visit Isle of Wight, Jones has also worked with Ordnance Survey, VisitWiltshire, National Trust and most recently English Heritage.
Communications consultant Lockwood offers over 12 years’ experience devising, implementing and delivering award-winning UK and European consumer campaigns boasting brands such as Virgin Media, V Festival, JUST EAT, Nikon, Nissan and T-Mobile including personal representation for Fearne Cotton, Margherita Taylor and Alex Zane.
Stuart Hunt joined the agency in October 2017 and quickly proved himself to rise to an account manager role. His varied career includes six years as a features editor at Retro Gamer magazine, roles in marketing for Learning Links and Dryad Maritime before managing the marketing for Earlybird, an innovative app that brings Twitter to the trading floor.
The appointments are as a result of new business wins for the agency which include M&S, National Physical Laboratory (NPL), Nacro, Spectrum, Go!Southampton and Southampton Cultural Development Trust.
