Farnborough: ABS IT Services celebrates new offices with funding support from Barclays
A Farnborough-based IT company, ABS IT Services, is celebrating the launch of its new 2,600 sq ft state-of-the-art freehold offices, aimed at supporting the company’s existing and future growth plans.
The firm, which was established in 1995 by Paul Aujla following a 20-year military career, has purchased and refurbished its new headquarters at Hercules Way in Farnborough, with funding of £400,000 secured from Barclays.
The business provides IT solutions including programming, hardware and training to MOD-linked organisations, and the new headquarters will allow the company to bring together its expertise and employees under one roof, and in premises fit for purpose.
Director Paul Aujla, said: "With the new office we aim to be pro-active in taking advantage of the opportunities the current climate presents. This is an important step for us and I’m delighted that we’ve been able to secure the premises and refurbish it to the highest standard, demonstrating the company's commitment to our customers, staff and suppliers.
"Barclays has been very supportive and continues to play an integral part of our business plans and growth in the future which includes the launch of a new Internet-trading website."
The funding package was put together by Barclays business manager Julie Stent, who is based in Hampshire.
Stent added: "Purchasing the new premises is a great move with the current low interest rates. It’s important for Barclays to support a local firm with a proven track record as it continues to go from strength to strength. This facility demonstrates our appetite to provide funding to quality customers in what remains a competitive and challenging sector."
