Thames Valley: Martin Bayfield to host Property Awards
Martin Bayfield will host the Thames Valley Property Awards - after guests urged the organisers to bring him back for a second year running.
The former rugby union player, who gained 31 England caps, was so popular in 2018 that he was the perfect choice to return to Ascot Racecourse for this year's event, on May 2.
"He is literally back by popular demand as we had such a tremendous response to his appearance last year. Martin is a larger-than-life presence; he is 6 ft 10 inches - and his experience in acting and after-dinner speaking make him the best possible choice for our hugely popular awards dinner," said David Murray, managing director of awards organisers The Business Magazine.
An audience of more than 700 people is guaranteed for the awards, the biggest property event of its kind in the region outside London.
The Thames Valley Property Awards is now open for entries. There are numerous categories - and nominations are encouraged from developers, agents, town planners, occupiers, lawyers, property funders, surveyors and architects.
TVPA is sponsored by SEGRO, Morgan Lovell, Campbell Gordon, Peter Brett Associates, Hicks Baker, Jansons, Haslams, Savills, Leaders Romans Group, McKay Securities, Blake Morgan, Jelf, Gateley plc, Crowe and Boyes Turner. Media partner is CoStar and further support comes from Pegasus Group.
