Finalists for the region’s largest property event have been revealed. Despite the challenging times, the announcement of the line-up for the 2020 Thames Valley Property Awards underlines the depth of expertise and talent, as well as the quality of deals in the region.

The seventh annual awards will be on September 3. The date was rescheduled from April 30 while the COVID-19 crisis is brought under control. At the time of going to press, the awards are due to take place at Ascot Racecourse. However, an alternative programme of events, including holding a virtual awards ceremony, are also being considered. Sponsors and guests will be kept informed as the programme unfolds.

Peter Laurie, head of client relations at awards organiser The Business Magazine, said: “During this period of unprecedented uncertainty we are determined to acknowledge the Thames Valley’s leading property firms and deals in an appropriate way.

“When entries closed in February we had received a very impressive range of compelling submissions from developers, agents, planners, consultants, property lawyers and dealmakers.

“As always, with such a high standard of entries judging was difficult and some tough decisions had to be made. Our finalists represent the cream of the Thames Valley property sector and we look forward to recognising their achievements.”

The awards in 16 categories are sponsored by BDB Pitmans, Blake Morgan, Boyes Turner, Campbell Gordon, Close Brothers, Crowe, Encore, Gateley Legal, Haslams, Hicks Baker, Jansons, Leaders Romans, McKay Securities, Morgan Lovell, Savills, and SEGRO.
