Nominations for the Thames Valley Tech Awards will close on June 7. Following a successful first year in 2018, the awards are aiming to recognise the achievements of technology brands within the region over the past 12 months.
Often referred to as the UK’s biggest tech hub outside of London, the Thames Valley has seen technology become a significant part of its economy for over 20 years and is home to tech companies such as Microsoft, Oracle, Huawei and Cisco, and many startups.
The Thames Valley Tech Awards, run by The Business Magazine, celebrates the best in the region with 12 prestigious awards categories available to be won including Innovative Tech Company, Tech Employer of the Year, Global Tech Company and Tech Start-Up.
David Murray, founder of The Business Magazine, commented: “We have already received some fantastic entries into this year’s awards and would like to encourage any outstanding successes of large global brands and smaller, to get their entries in before May 31. We are looking forward to celebrating on the night and crowning our next winners.”
This year’s Thames Valley Tech Awards follows the success of its first year in 2018, that saw local businesses including Southern Communications, Ultima Business Solutions and Open Cosmos scoop awards.
