Uxbridge: Romans moves into zone 6
The Romans Group has moved into zone 6 of the London Underground following the acquisition of Bennett Residential, a highly-respected sales and lettings agency in Uxbridge.
Expanding its territory coverage has been high on the agenda for the group which has since 2013 made a number of successful acquisitions. The firm has a £30 million facility for more business purchases.
Philip Bennett, managing director of Bennett Residential, commented: “Selling the agency was understandably a hard decision to make, so it was imperative that we sold to a company with the same passion for property and high values as us.”
Joel Osbourne, operations director of Romans Lettings, said: “With our extensive acquisition experience in the South East, our capacity and financing facility, we are ready and able to consider any acquisition opportunity and plan to accelerate our rate of growth this year and in the years to come.”
Established in 1987, Romans now has 28 sales and lettings branches across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire, Middlesex, Oxfordshire, and Surrey. Its ambitious growth plans have led to several other exciting acquisitions in the local area, including Bramptons in Beaconsfield and Gerrards Cross, Sherriff Mountford in Burnham, and Campsie in Windsor, Staines-upon-Thames and West Drayton.
