The increasing complexity of overlapping technology coupled with sector growth, leads to new liabilities and interconnected risks, such as credit and contractual risk. We are pleased to host this webinar, in association with Marsh Commercial, to explore the subject in more detail, focusing on the potential implications and solutions to these risks.
We will be joined by Anthony McKinnon who works with Marsh Commercial in the Trade Credit Practice, who will talk to us about credit risk, and the unique issues facing the technology sector. Tom Dixon, Head of the Technology Sector at Hiscox, an insurer with over 50,000 technology clients in the UK, will also be on hand to illustrate points around contractual risk – especially in an economic downturn.

Anthony McKinnon, Development Executive
Anthony McKinnon is a Development Executive in the Trade Credit Practice of Marsh Ltd, based in the London office.
Anthony has responsibility for the Southern region and works closely with existing and prospective clients to provide guidance on, and place bespoke credit insurance solutions.
Anthony has been in the insurance industry for seven years, he started his career in the general insurance market handling property, casualty and professional indemnity claims.
Anthony joined the Marsh Trade Credit Practice in June 2016, where he formed part of a servicing team advising existing Marsh Trade Credit clients.
Tom Dixon, Head of Technology Sector
Tom Dixon is the Head of Technology Sector at Hiscox. Hiscox insure over 50,000 tech risks in the UK and technology forms one of their core sectors.
Tom has P&L responsibility for the technology sector and is responsible for the underwriting, pricing, wording, proposition and thought leadership in this space. Given the exciting and diverse nature of the tech sector his favourite part of the job is meeting the many different and highly entrepreneurial technology clients and providing market leading and bespoke solutions for their needs.
Tom has been in the insurance industry for 15 years. He started his career at Zurich as an Account Executive in the Solicitors Professional Indemnity space.
Tom joined Hiscox in 2009 as a Development Underwriter, progressed to Senior Underwriter, Strategic Account Underwriting Manager, Regional Underwriting Manager and latterly Head of Technology.
