West Oxfordshire: VSL & Partners completes region's largest commercial property transaction for 2013

VSL & Partners has just completed the acquisition of a 4.5 acre factory site on Old Station Way, Eynsham, on behalf of Polar Venture Management (PVM). This represents the largest commercial property transaction completed in West Oxfordshire last year.

The site acquired from WS Supplies comprises 60,000 sq ft incorporating two office complexes and connected to a factory unit providing 40,000 sq ft of manufacturing space.

Richard Venables, director at VSL & Partners, explained: “This was a complex deal that concluded in just eight weeks over the summer period. It was a really interesting collaboration with West Oxfordshire development team which resulted in retaining business in the district.”

PVM intends to develop the unused factory space into manufacturing units for its growing engineering business portfolio. SS Tube Technology (SSTT), a PVM company, has signed an agreement to lease on an initial 7,000 sq ft within the factory. This will allow PVM to set up a further engineering business creating a further 130 jobs.
