Winchester: Long-established Hampshire contractor moves to new premises
Hampshire contractor RBS Scaffolding is to move to new premises after buying a new building and yard in Winchester. The company, established in the Southampton area for 30 years, has purchased the 12,827 sq ft unit on the Winnall industrial Estate, Moorside Road, Winchester.
The sale was completed on behalf of the building’s owners, Legal & General, by south coast commercial property specialist Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH), acting as joint agents with Hughes Ellard. Keygrove Chartered Surveyors were agents for the purchaser.
Adrian Whitfield, industrial and logistics director for LSH on the south coast, said: “The final price of £950,000 demonstrated the continuing high levels of demand and the shortage of facilities of this kind for industrial property and yards in the region”.
Richard Nevines of Keygrove said: “This is a great location for RBS Scaffolding, and we were very pleased to achieve a positive result for all parties involved.”
LSH is a multi-award-winning commercial property specialist and a leader on the South Coast in the industrial property, office space, retail and investment markets.
