Winchester: University of Winchester high-ranking for overall satisfaction
National Student Survey 2013 results reveal 100% overall satisfaction in law, history and archaeology as rated by degree students at the University of Winchester, which ranks these subjects as highest nationally.
Furthermore, overall satisfaction ratings by University of Winchester degree students for initial teacher education; education studies; childhood, youth and community studies; journalism; creative writing; event management; American studies; and dance, rank these programmes among the top 15 universities in England.
“I am once again delighted with the outcome of the National Student Survey,” commented Professor Joy Carter, vice-chancellor. “Winchester is a place where students have the opportunity, support and inspiration to excel and this survey reaffirms the outstanding levels of student satisfaction with the quality of provision here. It is certainly a wonderful testament to staff whose professionalism and personal commitment to students has produced these results.”
Sports, politics, social work, business management, accounting and finance, english and theology and religious studies are ranked in the top 30 universities in England for overall satisfaction by degree students from the University.
The University of Winchester is ranked among the top five universities in the South East of England and top 25 universities in England by full-time students for overall satisfaction.
Overall satisfaction with the Student Union is ranked first in the South East and in the top ten universities in England.
