Wokingham: Blandy & Blandy advises gin bar owners
Thames Valley law firm Blandy & Blandy LLP has advised the owners of a new gin bar coming to Wokingham’s Peach Place development in spring 2019.
Describing the no doubt popular new venue, The Leafy Elephant, owner Stephen Scott said: “The major development and investment by the Council presented a unique opportunity to deliver to Wokingham a high-quality establishment providing a venue for working professionals to socialise while being treated to an exceptional level of service and knowledge with an extremely popular drinks proposition.”
Scott added: “Blandy & Blandy’s excellent Commercial Property team, particularly Katja and Rachel, addressed a complex suite of documentation with great skill and helped us negotiate a lease which we hope to enjoy for many years to come. I would not hesitate to recommend the firm to anyone looking for advice on commercial property matters”.
Partner Katja Wigham added: “Thank you to Stephen, Stephanie and Duncan for instructing us to act on their behalf in this exciting new venture; it has been a pleasure working with them. Peach Place is a high-profile and excellent location in Wokingham and we wish The Leafy Elephant every success for the future.”
The Leafy Elephant joins other confirmed tenants at Peach Place and Wokingham’s new Elms Field development, as part of the town’s regeneration, including Everyman Cinemas, Premier Inn, Waterstones, Cook and GAIL’s artisan bakers.
